When do you meet?
We meet on Sunday mornings with Sunday School classes for all ages—children (K-6th), youth (7th-12th), and adults—from 10:00 to 10:55 AM. Our worship service, open to everyone, follows at 11:00 AM. The nursery is available throughout both services.
On Wednesdays, we gather at 6:00 PM for a potluck on the first Wednesday of each month. At 7:00 PM, we offer Truth Kids (K-6th grade) and Risen Youth (7th-12th grade), while adults gather for worship. The nursery is also open during Wednesday services.
Where do you meet?
Mount Vernon Baptist Church is located at 3184 County Line Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306. You’ll find us in the heart of the community, and we look forward to welcoming you!
Do I have to dress up?
Not at all—come as you are! Whether you prefer a suit, casual wear, or even a t-shirt, everyone is welcome. We believe church is about worship and community, not about what you wear.
What about my kids?
We have a place for children of all ages! Sunday mornings offer Sunday School classes for kids, youth, and adults, and our nursery is open during all church hours. On Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM, we hold Truth Kids (K-6th grade) and Risen Youth (7th-12th grade) classes, ensuring there’s always a space for your children to grow and learn.
Where do I park?
There are a few parking spaces in front of the sanctuary, but don’t worry if those are full—you’re welcome to park anywhere on the grass around the church. There’s plenty of room for everyone!
Where do I come in?
For the 11:00 AM worship service on Sundays, enter through the main sanctuary doors beneath the large steeple.
For Sunday School, enter through the double doors under the carport on the left side of the church. Once inside, you’ll find classrooms along the hallway—feel free to ask anyone if you’re unsure where to go, and they’ll happily point you in the right direction.
On the first Wednesday of each month, our potluck is held at 6:00 PM in the back of the church near the kitchen. Youth services are held in the same rooms as Sundays, while adults worship in the sanctuary. Our building is easy to navigate, but don’t hesitate to ask for help if you need it!
